A large French Louis Philippe bronze and gilt-bronze table lamp, second quarter 19th century, later wired and converted for electricity and having six lights below a perspex diffuser, with two further lights, the whole as a turned column with Anthemion leaf cast scrolling base to a triform rouge marble plinth, h.92cmWe do not know if it requires re-wiring, but it looks as though it should all be good.Condition is good.
A set of three Meissen porcelain models of hares, circa 1750, modelled by J.J. Kaendler, naturistically coloured and mounted upon a floral encrusted base, marked to the bases, largest h.16cmLargest (height 16cm) has some rubbing to the enamels on the body. The usual small losses and touching up to the flowers and leaves on the base.Mid (height 14.5cm) has a small amount of rubbing to the enamels on the body. There are losses and repairs to some of the leaves and flowers to the base, one flowerhead in particular has been quite crudely glued back on with a yellowed glue.Smallest (height 7cm) The ears appear to have been exceptionally well restored and with some overpainting. Some light rubbing to the enamels on the body. The usual small losses and touching up to the flowers and leaves on the base.UV lamp not showing further repairs/restoration but bidders must satisfy themselves to the condition and viewing in person is strongly recommended
