1979 Ford Cortina 2.0 S MKIVMake: Ford Model: Cortina Year: 1979Mileage: 84690VIN: BABFWL273200Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: CUX313TTransmission: ManualWhile this 1979 Cortina 2.0 S is a Metallic Mid-Blue model, it is currently wearing white primer. The car is an unmodified example with original 'S' interior and a factory sunroof (albeit currently taped up). New items recently fitted include a battery, ignition lead set, spark plugs and distributor cap. Included with the car are MkIV 'S' decals as well as a stripe kit. The car was registered in June 1979 and its odometer currently shows 84,690 miles, although this isn't warranted. The last MoT expired in February 2013. The vendor tells us that among the missing items are the driver's door, one circular front driving lamp, black plastic wheel nut caps, the Ford oval rear badge, jack and wheelbrace, and the glovebox key (the glovebox is currently locked). He also notes that the idling speed is currently too slow. The car will require recommissioning before being returned to the road and can be temperamental to start. The paperwork folder includes current and previous V5Cs, the original 1982 used car sales invoice from Gordon Ford of Wigan, and MoT certificates from 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012. There's also a small number of 21st century bills.
