The top edges of the marble bodies with very minor nibbles. Minor scratches and small gouge visible above the floral mount on the base of marble body of one lamp. The bases with chips to edges and corners including a large chip to lower edge on one. There are later rubber feet attached to one of the lamps. One of the fitments has been replaced with a silver-coloured example rather than the gilt-coloured example on the other lamp. The silver-coloured fitment is slightly loose.

A pair of French gilt-bronze and cut glass six-light candelabra, late 19th century, each with scroll arms and faceted glass drops, balls, and pendants above an urn stem on a circular foot with acanthus decoration, 80cm high (2)It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that electrical items are professionally rewired for use.Condition Report: Both candelabras in need of some restoration and replacement parts. Both candelabra are missing one glass flowerheads, and several glass beads and drops are missing or replaced with other drops, several flowerheads to the second tier of acanthus leaves with losses, chips and nibbles, several drops missing from the sconces, several chains of beads are missing from the lower scrolling branches, a couple of scrolling arms are bent or misshapen. One candelabra has an old crack and loss to the glass diamond below the top-most scrolling branches. There are a few glass balls, beads and drops loose and present with the lot. Each lamp is wired but not tested for working capability, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure electrical lights are professionally rewired for use.

One of the rope swags has a horizontal crack which is possibly a restoration. There are some dark surface marks which need to be gently cleaned away. Nicks to the glaze in places. As can be seen from the online photographs, it is leaning and there are losses at the top of the upright. It can be restored but would need to be executed by a professional restorer. This same lamp has a knock and crack to the shade, a hairline fracture at the front of the upright and some losses to the stepped base. The other lamp is in better condition with only nicks to the bases. The bronze mounts to both are tarnished overall and there is some slight mis-shaping to the petals at the top of the shades.It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that electrical items are professionally rewired for use.
