A locomotive Lamp, the heavy white metal lamp with makers plate for "Peckett & Sons, Engineers, Bristol" with original oil burner, bulls eye lens with green glass slide, 41cms high. NB This lamp was originally on the Peckett locomotive at British Cellophane, Bridgwater which was removed from service in 1960, replaced by a diesel shunter.
Pullman Lamp, brass construction measuring 19" tall and clearly stamped TC303 on base. Third Class Kitchen Car No.303 was introduced to service in 1952 with two other cars which were the only cars ever built by the Pullman Car Company at its Preston Park Workshops at Brighton. One of the final straight-sided Pullmans built with, unusually, rectangular toilet and pantry windows. These final three cars joined the seven cars introduced in 1951 for the Festival Of Britain Golden Arrow service. Allocations were: Southern Region 1955 - 1959, Eastern Region 1959 - 1960, Southern Region 1960 - 1966. Within the formation of the inaugural Master Cutler Pullman service from Kings Cross to Sheffield. Withdrawn 1967. Moved to Birds Scrap Yard at Long Marston in October 1968 and broken-up in 1969.The lamp is missing its finial nut but a rare version and a wonderful, historic item nevertheless.
LNER enamel Lamp Tablet ALNWICK, F/F in cream with chocolate lettering. Ex NER station, built in 1887 on quite a grand scale for such a small place. It was sited on the branch from Alnmouth and remained open until January 1968. Measures approximately 16" x 5" and apart from centre top damage encroaching into the cream a little, it is in very good condition.
London & North Eastern Railway glass Lamp Tablets, qty 2 comprising EASTRINGTON and FLAMBROUGH. Eastrington is ex NER station, opened in 1840, between Selby and Hull. At one time, this very small village boasted two stations, the second being to the north of the village on the Hull & Barnsley Railway which opened in 1885. Flamborough is ex NER station opened on 20 October 1847 by the York and North Midland Railway and called Marton. However, there were several other railway stations also called Marton, so on 1 July 1884 the North Eastern Railway renamed it after the village of Flamborough several miles away. It closed on 5 January 1970.
North British Railway station Platform Lamp with blue and white lamp tablet showing POMATHORN. The station was between Peebles and Edinburgh, opened as Peniuick on 4th July 1855. Renamed Pomathorn on the 2nd September 1872 and finally Pomathorn Halt on the 7th July 1947. Closed forever on 5th February 1962. Complete with lamp interior, the brass filler cap stamped 'NBR'
BR(W) 3 aspect Handlamp bearing two brass plates, one embossed BR(W), the other G. Polkey Manufacturer Birmingham. Complete with original reservoir and BR/WR burner. Good condition but lens has a small crack near the top. Together with a standard BR(M) 3 aspect Handlamp with original reservoir and BR marked burner. In extremely good, unrestored condition. Additionally, a LNER Loco, so embossed, Drivers Handlamp with a later, BR insert with 3 aspects as opposed to the 2 aspects normally found with the Loco Lamps. Has original reservoir and LNER stamped burner. Together with a BR double bulls eye Hanging Lamp complete with innards and a BR marked burner and an unusual Sliding Knob Handlamp embossed 'AS & CO' on the side. Lacks interior and has several cracks to the front lens, and finally, an unrestored 3 aspect Military Railway Handlamp with a Birmingham 1943 plate on the side.

Eastrington is ex NER station, opened in 1840, between Selby and Hull. At one time, this very small village boasted two stations, the second being to the north of the village on the Hull & Barnsley Railway which opened in 1885.
SR Sugg type Platform Gas Lamp with green enamel shade but no globe. Unrestored condition. Together with a signalling miscellany comprising NER circular steel Lever Collar 'Not In Use' one side and 'Line Blocked' the other, reputedly ex Selby. Together with a chunky, steel GNR, so embossed, Lever Lead No 5 Signal Down Main 4. Measures a large 8¾" x 3¼" and is unrestored.
NER station Platform Lamp painted 'DURHAM'. Complete with lamp interior and glass globe. Accompanying is an LNER Platform Lamp interior complete with glass globe and a restored, wooden Carriage Board, double sided with DURHAM one side, BISHOP AUCKLAND the other. Steel strengtheners at the end.
