An English pearlware mask jug, of baluster form, moulded with cabbage leaves and further underglaze blue decorated, circa 1775, h.17cm Condition Report / Extra Information Chip to outside of spout above mask. Long and small chips to top rim. Chip to handle on left hand side, and chip to base of handle. Two chips to outside of base. UV lamp shows no restoration.
An early Worcester porcelain sauceboat, relief moulded and underglaze blue decorated with chinoisserie landscapes within scroll moulded cartouches, makers tally mark verso, circa 1755, w.23cm Condition Report / Extra Information Small frit to outer rim at spout. Three brown stains to inside of bowl. Some brown staining to underside of footrim. UV lamp shows no restoration.
An early 20th century European composition doll of a Japanese baby, having fixed brown eyes, painted features, jointed limbs, and wearing Japanese silkwork gown, unmarked, 55cm Condition Report / Extra Information Head feels to have been restored/repainted, but UV lamp does not show anything, no chips or cracks. Right hand thumb missing. Left hand little finger missing.
Thomas Smythe (1825-1906) - Travellers with horse and cart within a landscape, oil on panel, signed, framed as a circle, dia.36cm Condition Report / Extra Information Picture in excellent but restored condition. Bought through a local gallery in the 1980s. Has been cleaned and varnished. UV lamp shows very small amount of re-painting to extremities, presumably where it has rubbed against the slip of the frame. Frame good and complete.

UV lamp shows small areas of minor overpainting. Has slightly 'cleaned back' appearance. Paint good and stable, no craquelure or breaking out.
Isaac Cullin (act.1881-1920) - Portrait of a racehorse within an extensive landscape, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower right, 69 x 90cm Condition Report / Extra Information Original canvas and stretcher. UV lamp shows numerous minor spots of overpainting, otherwise paint good and stable. Appears to have been recently cleaned. Frame with minor losses.
J Langlois - Terriers ratting within a landscape, oil on canvas, signed lower left, 25 x 35cm Condition Report / Extra Information Re-lined. UV lamp shows small number of minor overpainting spots to include some to body of white terrier. Slightly grubby. Light crazing but paint good and stable.
After Josef Grassi (Austrian c.1758-1838) - Half-length portrait of a maiden, possibly Koscinsiko(?) wearing a fur stole, oil on canvas, 64 x 52cm (re-lined) Condition Report / Extra Information Re-lined. Paint good and stable. has been cleaned back. UV lamp shows minor overpainting all-over but significant along left hand side from top to bottom outside of main portrait. Small area of overpaint to her forehead and a further area lower right corner.
Ernest Walbourn (1872-1927) - Feeding the ducks from the river Frome, Dorchester, oil on canvas, signed lower right, 50 x 75cm Condition Report / Extra Information Original canvas and stretchers. Paint good and stable, no craquelure or breaking out. UV lamp shows no overpainting. Swept frame with some re-gilding and cracks to moulding with minor losses.
17th/18th Flemish school - Portrait of St Matthew and the Angel, oil on oak panel, 47 x 35cm (distressed) Condition Report / Extra Information Full length vertical split to panel, re-glued. Painting with significant scuffs, scratches and loses to paint. The whole flat and cleaned back but UV lamp shows no traces of overpainting.
George Fox (1816-1910) - A tale of Waterloo, oil on board, signed lower centre, 27 x 35cm Condition Report / Extra Information Painting restored with strong visible signs of old craquelure, cleaned back with some overpainting visible under UV lamp, varnished. House in re-gilded swept frame, titled to slip.
After Mary Beale 19th century English school - Three quarter length portrait of a maiden with fruit, oil on canvas, re-lined and with restoration, 90 x 68.5cm Condition Report / Extra Information UV lamp shows some areas of overpainting, largely to extremities, also area approx 1x4" above basket of fruit, face bust and arms with very small overpainting spots only, only one spot of overpainting to face below left eye, further overpainting around left shoulder, left elbow and above right arm. Appears to have been recently restored. Paint good and stable, and cleaned back.

Leonard Richmond (1889-1965) - A Cornish beach, oil on canvas (re-lined), signed lower left, 79 x 122cm Condition Report / Extra Information Re-lined Cleaned Some light craquelure but paint good and stable UV lamp shows significant overpainting in patches throughout the picture, with two large tears (approx. 14" and approx. 9"), additional overpainting to extremities. Most overpainting very good and convincing, but the three figures to top of beach are less good (all other figures appear to be original)
Samuel Philip Jackson (1830-1904) - Cattle watering at Cader Idris, North Wales, oil on canvas laid on board, signed and indistinctly dated lower left, 60 x 90cm Condition Report / Extra Information Canvas laid on later board. UV lamp shows spots of overpainting. The whole slightly cleaned back and with light varnish. Paint good and stable, with light craquelure only.
