Sold by order of a descendant of the Dukes Of Newcastle: Royal Presentation: a decorative late Victorian 'Colza' library lamp on a partly embossed circular base with openwork scroll feet, below a vase shaped knop with a plain rod column and a fixed scroll handle, the lamp and its vessel adjustable for height, with a decorative locking screw, the knop inscribed "From Victoria R.I. in rememberance of 22nd June 1897" and engraved with a double crest and the initials "EPC"*, by J.N. Mappin, London 1890
