North British Railway Company silver-plated, double Candelabra Lamp. Ornate, scalloped base of square symmetry flutes upwards in steps to reach a coliseum style pillar a full 11" in height. Sat on top of the pillar is a two-armed, horizontal support that reaches 8" either side. The central design is a 3¼" 'flame' finial with rams heads either side. Overall height is 18½" excluding the shades. These are later additions and the flex and plug, although very old, are probably from the 1940's or 1950's. On the base face is the full North British Railways Company crest and either side, the makers name 'Rodgers', the star & Maltese cross hallmark and the serial number 3274. Joseph Rodgers & Sons are one of the longest established silverplate companies in Sheffield. Established as early as 1682. They used the star and Maltese Cross hallmark. LNER 4 aspect Fogmans Loco Lamp brass plated B.R. (E) CORBY GLEN. A wonderful, unrestored example complete in every way and having a LNE stamped burner. Corby Glen was a small station on the East Coast main line between Peterborough and Grantham, not far from Essendine. It closed in June 1959.

A 7mm finescale two-rail electric model of G.W.R. 43XX Class 2-6-0 locomotive and tender No. 5396, with good external detailing and backhead with some cab fittings, the tender with water cocks, tool boxes, tank vents, steps, hand and lamp irons with other details, finished in G.W.R. matt livery and lining, 16 in (40.7 cm) long (1)

A good pair of early carriage lamps, high-quality construction with nickel and german-silver fittings, the original burners converted to electrical operation, engraved & inscribed with makers name to lamp-holders, good condition, together with a single carriage lamp in unrestored original condition (3)
