Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with stephenson's link valve gear, footplate controlled draincock's, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, steam brakes, steps, hand and lamp irons. Tender with hand feed pump, brakes, steps and hand irons. Finished in BR black livery with polished brightwork. Boiler history Southern Federation of Model Engineers Societies Boiler test certificate No 4844. Expired 7th of April 1999
A 5in gauge Model of the GWR 4-6-0 locomotive and tender, No 5910 Park Hall, built by the late Mr Charles William Clark to Henry Greenly's drawings with superheated steel boiler and fittings including water gauge, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details including twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, footplate controlled drain cocks, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details including brake gear, riveting, water cock, hand feed pump, steps and hand irons. Finished in GWR livery.. Boiler history includes Southern Federation of Model Engineering Society Boiler Test Certicate No 5655 Last test recorded the 15th of August 1999. Tested to 160 psi. A 5in gauge G.W.R 0-6-0 pannier tank locomotive, No 1634, built to a fine engineering standard with brazed copper boiler with fittings including water gauge, shut off cock, pressure gauge, safety, blower, twin injectors, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valve. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders 1 1/2 in bore x 2 in stroke with Stephenson's link reverse, footplate controlled valve chest, draincocks, lubricator, toolbox, crosshead driven feed pump, bypass, two injectors, whistle, steam and hand operated brake gear and hand feed pump. Other detail include tool box, hand and lamp irons, rivet detail and steps. The model is finished in dark green livery with polished brightwork. 85cm long
A well engineered 2in scale model of a Shand Mason Horse Drawn Fire Engine, built by Mr J.B.Nickolls from Edgar T Westbury drawings and Reeves castings. The model with copper boiler having 'J' tubes, normal fittings, twin cylinder engine with cylinder head lubricators, scotch cranks, eccentric driven feed pump and stop cock, twin spoked flywheels and twin direct coupled water pumps with change over lever, water tanks, suction and delivery hose. Chassis and body details include spoked wooden wheels with metal rims, turning lock, coal bunker, drivers seat with brass rail to back, box body with foot rest, brake gear, bell, two branches and lamp backets. The model finished in red and black paintwork with brass plate inscribed 'Shand Mason & Co. Engineers, London. 14in wide x 22in long
