This item is sold as a decorative item only and consultation with a qualified electrician must be used before installation into the home. The lamp is grubby throughout and will need a clean. Some scratches to the base and also to the white sections of the shade. The shade sits slightly tilted to one side. Overall a little tired. There is corrosion to both of the screw heads above and below the switch.

The base does unscrew. The maker's mark to the top is partly worn. Each of the shoes with general light age wear patina, one of the stands is broken and needs fixing to the back of the shoe.
