CONDITION REPORT: gilt composition frame circa early-mid 19th century with large amount of losses to the moulding frame has key construction panel not warped the paint surface is blistering and starting to flake along a vertical axis throughout the picture there are more pronounced blistering along the lower edge and lower left and right, top right and along the left hand edge under inspection with uv lamp there is evidence of cleaning on the face, the collar and the lower right there are remains of the original varnish elsewhere over all in fair to good condition will require some restoration
