Humphreys, August 7th, 1804, etching on wove with contemporary hand colouring, contemporary ink manuscript annotations below title, narrow margins, trimmed to top margin with no loss to image, a few repaired tears, 505 x 350 mm QTY: (1)NOTE:BM Satires 10264.Sir Francis Burdett, scarcely caricatured, sits in a carriage on the way to the hustings, past a large cheering mob. The radical politician Horne Tooke drives the carriage. Streams of election literature slip out of his pocket. Amongst the politicians pulling the carriage is Charles James Fox dressed as a ragged chimney sweeper, the Duke of Norfolk and Duke of Northumberland in aprons and the Duke of Bedford as a farmer. Francis Rawdon-Hastings, 1st Marquess of Hasting stands in the foreground, beating a drum. Behind him is a lamp-post from which hangs a rat labelled 'No Ministerial Rats'.

Humphrey, April 15th 1799, uncoloured etching and aquatint caricature, large margins, faint pencil marginalia, central fold, 370 x 445 mmQTY: (1)NOTE: B.M satires 9369. The members of the Secret Committee of the Commons are seated around a table examining the documents relating to the United Irishmen and other revolutionary societies. A lamp on the table illuminates a large framed transparency. The transparency is irradiated, throwing into deep shadow, members of the Opposition in the foreground who flee from the room apparently in terror at what they have witnessed.
Victorian brass oil lamp, of wrythen Corinthian column form on stepped base, clear slice cut reservoir below burner with etched yellow glass shade, max H70cm. The shade has a shallow large chip to the top rim, and a similar to the base rim, visible spotting to the stepped base. There are no hoes drilled.
An Art Deco patinated spelter lamp base, c1930s, in the form of a circus elephant on stepped base supporting geometric glass globe shade, max H46cm. Note - the tusks have been tested and appear to be a form of hard plastic/celluloid. They are removable. Shade diameter approx. 17cm Condition - Good condition overall, some losses to the patination on the base.
Victorian silver plated Corinthian column oil lamp base, the cranberry glass shade over clear cut glass font, reeded Corinthian column on a stepped pedestal base, to top of shade H94cm, no burner fittings or chimney present. Some wear and tarnish to the lamp base, converted to electricity, some small chips to the base rim of the shade. There is a hole drilled to reverse for the cable. The glass reservoir is nibbled in places.
Chinese porcelain Famille Rose table lamp, mid 20th century, of baluster shape, the reserve panels finely painted with attendants in a garden, between profusely decorated foliate backgrounds within Ruyi and geometric borders, on hardwood base and topped with matching shade with printed garden attendant decoration. Max H60cm with shade.The lamp has been converted from a vase and has the associated factors concerning that such as a drilled hole through the base. There is a small hairline crack to the rim of approx. 2cm long. Otherwise good with light wear to the shade and base.
An Art Deco patinated spelter table lamp, c1930s, the marbled glass globe shade supported by three figures of ladies on a stepped base with presentation plaque to the foot, max H41cm, shade diameter 18cm. Condition - Touch of minor scratching to the ladies and one rubbed spot on the base, light wear throughout.

Two 20th century Tiffany manner desk / table lamps. Each lamp having cast spelter bases, having foliate design feet. One lamp having a white and red glass, leaded petal design shade, terminating to top with shaped organic finial. The other having polychrome shade in tones of orange and green (AF). Tallest measures approx . 52cm tall.
Three 1930s Art Deco glass flycatcher plafonnier and two marbled / mottled lamp light shades. The shade of domed form with tutti frutti glass in the colours of pink, orange and white, with original chains and brass housings. The smaller two of orange and blue marbled and mottled colourways. Largest measures approx 30cm diameter.
A mid 20th century Danish manner brass and wood floor standing standard lamp. The lamp featuring a round brass base, with wood inlay, ascending via a central thin brass column to a tubular fabric shade. Having a concave carved wooden decoration to the middle of the column.
