. An undated archaistic grey ceramic D-section lamp with handle formed as the head of a satyr, raised filler-hole, foliage detail to the upper face, vent to the lower end. Property of a North London gentleman; formerly with a Mayfair gallery in the 1980s. 149 grams, 11.5cm (4 1/2"). [No Reserve] Fine condition, pitted surface.

A mixed pair of ceramic oil lamps comprising: a bearded mask with hole to the forehead, three nozzles forming the beard; a slipper-shaped lamp with lug handle, winged horse to the discus. 20th century AD. A mixed group of razors comprising: one in its case marked 'Gotta 120'; one similar, marked 'Emperor' to one face and 'Geo. Wolstenholm & Sons. Sheffield, England' to the tang; two similar marked 'Hollow Ground' and 'Taylor / Witness Sheffield'; a leather strop with trade mark profile lamp 'Roma No.24'. 18th-19th century AD. A bronze lamp consisting of a four armed goddess holding a stupa and a flaming jewel in her upper hands, lower left hand in the abhya mudra, meaning 'fear not', and lower right hand in the varada mudra, meaning 'fulfilment of wishes', two strings of necklaces and a large crown with five-headed snake rearing above, body forming a handle; to the front a shallow bowl for wick with tortoise either side; goddess seated with on leg extended; column below and bell-shaped foot. Acquired on the London art market prior to 1980. 1 kg, 30cm (12"). Fine condition.
