A rare Troika Pottery rectangular section lamp base, overall brown glazed, each side with a circular matte textured geometric boss, decorated by Alison Brigden, height 30cm. Provenance: This was given to Alison Brigden by Lesley Illsley in 1983. They took several weeks to make and, because of this, never went into general production. (See illustration) Condition Report: lot 944A - Only hidden firing flaws. Firing flaws as can just be seen on inner cylinder. I expected to find small chips but there is no post production damage

(possibly Morris Salkind), London 1915, 27 x 26cm, approx 30.5oz.
