CONDITION REPORT: On one shoulder there is a very fine surface scratch approximately 9 cm long. We do not believe this to be a crack as it cannot be felt on the interior. One of the suspension lugs has a firing flaw leaving a small fingernail patch of the surface slightly raised and slightly grazed. The suspension wire holding the lower globe has been replaced. Other than those mentioned there appear to be no further obvious faults.

The plaster of Paris that fills the underside is visible and this may well have had a further plinth. The glass column is in good order. The top pierced brass section has had some repair. There is a hole at the top into which a font would fit but this is not threaded.

The attached images will give you a good indication of the condition of the paintwork and chrome. The glass on all items is in good order.
