A Moorcroft candlestick converted to a lamp base, in a poppy pattern, the slender cylindrical column raised on a spreading circular foot, on a later turned stand, 45cm high overall CONDITION REPORT: Lighting lots are sold as decorative items only, prospective buyers must consult with a qualified electrician before use or installation of these items. Please see additional images now the modern base has been removed showing backstamp and signature. Crazing to the base, cork sections to the rim applied - see images. Two firing cracks visible to the spreading base including a large example 6cm long. Crazed throughout. Small glaze chip to lower knop of the column. This is decorated in a poppy pattern.
