Early 20th Century French gilt spelter figural lamp, modelled as a maiden holding a torch aloft, on naturalistic circular base and serpentine plinth, 86cm high overall Condition: Gilding maybe slightly later than original manufacture date of figure (looks like Woolworths gilt of the 1920's/30's), figure probably circa 1905/10. Lamp has bayonet fitting but no shade. Figure is drilled to wrist with remnants of wiring but will require refitting by a qualified electrician. Some wear to gilt patina of left arm. General wear to some high points. Typical flake losses to serpentine plinth. Drill hole to centre of back and another to circular metal base. **General condition consistent with age
