An early 20th Century Bedside Lamp, the baluster shaped body adapted from a Chinese turquoise glaze ceramic lamp and with brass mounts, the lamp standing on ornate pierced brass stand with four elephant's head/trunk style feet, with shade, the vase and metal mounts (not including shade) approx. 35cm high
A Victorian green glass and brass oil lamp, with etched glass shade, the base painted with acorns and oak leaves. Height including chimney 67 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The shade is in generally good condition. There are very minor bottom edge nibbles to the shade where this fits into the brass aperture below the burner, these are insignificant. The brasswork to the burner and base has lost some of its original lacquer and finish and is beginning to show slight scuffs and pitting. The glass base is in generally very good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There is slight rubbing to the gilding around the proud parts of the lamp.
An Art Deco spelter figural table lamp, in the form of a dancing nude, raised on a cylindrical base. Height 19 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This lamp is in untouched, original condition. The main problem with it is that the light fitting is detached from the hand. This would require repair. The fingers to the outstretched left hand are broken at the knuckle. The right hand facing out stretched arm has an old repair just above the elbow, this is old but visible. The original surface finish to the figure is showing signs of deterioration in places which should be visible from our image. The marble base is in generally good order with only minor surface scuffs and scratches.
