Small knocks, dents and scratches throughout. Patination and verdigris to recesses. Some engraving to one side of the triform base including 'N D'. The feet look a little clumsy but stand stable on a flat surface. In good overall condition.PAT tested passed 6.3.23

Areas of wear and rubbing to gilding. One foot a little loose but the bolt just needs tightening. Some wear and small tears to the shade. PAT test passed and was used in the flat up until very recently, however we are unable to guarantee that this represents full and sustained working order. Please see photos.

Makuzu Kozan (1842-1916). An earthenware 'duck and lotus pond' vase, c.1880, applied with the figure of a duck swimming amid encrusted lotus flowers, leaves and two crabs on rocks, iron red two character signature within a double gourd to the scene, the base with impressed mark within a double gourd, 30.5cm high, small losses, base drilled***CONDITION REPORT***Some staining to the fine crazing all over. At some stage the vase had been converted to a lamp with a drilled holes hole near the base, some remnants of glue around the inside of the neck which will remove. Losses to some of the flowers and leaves and to the legs of the two crabs seated on the rocks.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A French Art Deco chrome and marble clock garniture, by H. Loiseau of Chateauroux, the central clock of four glass construction flanked by a model of a deer, with matching lamp side ornaments with amber glass shades, clock 50cm wide, 35cm high, lamps 28cm high***CONDITION REPORT***Overall in good original untouched condition, very minor rubbing to the extreme corners of the case, rubbing to the finish on the feet, very slight oxidisation to the chromed metal deer, glass shades look original and have old wiring that would need replacement, eight day movement strikes on a bell and comes with original pendulum, working but not tested for timekeeping.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
