A pair of 19th Century green glass gilt decorated gas lamp bases of baluster form with metal mounts with twin handle metal mounts set with acanthus leaf decoration and raised on square similarly decorated base 24 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There is wear to the gilding on the glass. The metal has possibly been re-gilded / treated at some point. There are areas of wear to the extremities of the metalware and scratching, etc. On one, the handles are not quite straight. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include surface scratches. In need of a clean. See images for further detail.
A 19th Century Continental gilt bronze urn or lamp stand, the pierced Greek key style galleried top enclosing a Sienna marble circular panel on reeded column supports, united by a pierced floral and foliate medallion decorated undertier with tin dish to the centre, raised on foliate decorated eagle claw and ball feet, top 28 cm diameter (overall width 43 cm) x 78 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The top is loose on one of the supports - appears to be lacking a screw. Also is slightly misshapen along the top edge. The sienna marble has had several repairs and is heavily scratched. Lacquer is missing / rubbed throughout. Remains of cleaning fluid residue evident throughout. Cracks / splitting to the metal columns. Wear to the gilding. Knocks, bumps, etc. Has had heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use.
