A pair of Chinese carved amber figures of a man and a woman in robes, stood upon carved wooden cloud form stands, now fitted as table lamps, figures approx 19 cm high, height overall 35 cm including fittings CONDITION REPORTS Figure 1 - woman - head broken and repaired. Ribbon to her right shoulder damaged. Cord in her hands damaged to top. Signs of knocks and dents to base.Figure 2 - man - item in left hand presumably a parchment or scroll damaged and with loss. Otherwise the pieces with wear and tear conducive with age and use as a lamp in recent years. With some chipping to the top of the head and scratch to the reverse of the robe.See images for further detail.
