LNER platform lamp with original china glass lamp tablet MUNDESLEY ON SEA. The case is nicely restored and stamped LNER and stands 40in tall with the mounting frog. Comes complete with a cast iron balustrade mounting post measuring 44in tall. Mundesley On Sea was a former Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway station on the coast between Cromer and North Walsham which closed in 1964.
Furness Railway 3 Aspect Hand Lamp brass plated on both sides with 4 plates MESSENGERS PATENT CORRUGATED LAMP, F.R.C. No1, FURNESS RAILWAY COMPANY MANUFACTURED BY MESSENGER & SONS BIRMINGHAM, VICKERS GUN RANGE SIDINGS SIGNAL BOX. A superb pre grouping example in nice original condition complete with all glasses (blue is cracked), reservoir and burner.
Furness Railway wall mounted station platform Oil Lamp from Dalton station. The lamp case is in very good condition and stands 38in tall including mounting frog. The reservoir, complete with glass, is steel plated FRC DALTON STATION. The cast iron wall mounting bracket has the Furness monogram cast into it and stands 32in out from the wall.
Furness Railway pillar mounted station platform Oil Lamp from Grange Over Sands station. The lamp case is in very good condition and stands 32in tall including mounting frog. The reservoir is steel plated FRC GRANGE OVER SANDS. The cast iron ornate balustrade mounting is in very good condition with slight loss to one of the decorative parts and stands 55in tall. There is a picture of one of these lamps mounted on a wall at Grange over Sands in Volume 1 of The Furness Railway by K. Norman.

A French or Italian patinated bronze four light candelabrum in Pompeian Revival taste, circa 1875 and later adapted, with three foliate sockets and a tapered, reeded stem, rising from a triform base cast with leaves and a salamander, 50cm high overall; and a Louis Philippe gilt and patinated bronze table oil lamp base, circa 1830 and later adapted for electricity, the tapered reeded shaft terminating in an acanthus cast baluster, 41cm high (2) Condition Report: The first with loose screws- will need attention to make more usable- both adapted for electricity- drilled holes.
