An Art Nouveau gilt brass lamp base, with iridescent glass font and raised on an onyx base, the crescent signed but difficult to read. Height excluding light fitting 38 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp base is in generally good order. The glass section is free from any cracks, chips or damage. The metalwork is all in generally good order with the original finish substantially intact. We can see no losses to the metalwork. There is some minor tarnishing. The onyx base is in generally good condition all round with very, very minor edge nibbles. The lamp is not currently wired.
A Sitzendorf oil lamp base, three cherubs holding the reservoir. Height 21 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The burner is glued in position and it is not possible to see the top of the reservoir. The main body of the reservoir appears to be in good order with no chips or cracks. The floral encrustations have numerous small chips and losses as one would expect. The cherubs and wings are all in good order with no evidence of any damage, repairs or restoration. The floral encrustations to the base do have the usual chips.
A Regency mahogany pole screen (converted to standard lamp), plain shaft leading to a fluted stem and with triform base with metal lion paw feet. Height excluding light fittings 144 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The triform base is in generally good order. There are some minor veneer nibbles and the odd old repair but no significant issues. The column itself is in good order up to the very top turning. There is a small loss on the top turning. The slender pole above rocks in the mount but is serviceable. The wire is traced up the side of the pole with small screw in hooks.
A pair of Regency style lamp bases, each in the form of a classical urn and with stepped base with metal mounts. Height 56 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are in first class condition with no issues. They are both currently lit and operating in the saleroom. The shades also are in first class condition and of good quality. They are British rather than American fittings and have a recessed circular support within the shade that sits on top of the three sided wire support. It would be easy to get replacement shades if these do not suit. It is much more difficult when the fittings are American. The lamp bases are glazed ceramic.
A silver plated Corinthian column table lamp, on square stepped base. Height to light fitting 43 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The height of the column from the bottom of the base to top of the capital is 37 cm. There is a further 7 cm from the top of the capital to the top edge of the light fitting itself.
A pair of porcelain table lamps, each with brass base. Height excluding light fitting 40 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps currently operate. Both shades are discoloured, stained, worn and have slight perforations. The lamp bases themselves are in good condition with no chips, damage, repairs or restoration. The metal section of the base is tarnished on both lamps.
A 19th century Imari oil lamp, with metal mounts and ceramic reservoir. Height including burner 40 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The burner mechanism seems to adjust correctly. The reservoir has a chip to the bottom edge of the top lip where it joins the main body of the vase. This is visible when seated against the brass top. It is +/- 1.5 mm high and 6 mm long. The ceramic vase body is in good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. We can see no cracks or chips. All brasswork is present and in generally good order with only minor tarnished areas.
A late 19th century French spelter figural table lamp, flower seller, raised on onyx base with four scroll feet. Height 46 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is in generally extremely good order. There does not appear to be any damage to the figure or metalwork. There is a small chip to the top left hand corner of the onyx base and other minor nibbles but no significant problems. The piece is structurally sound. The light support is detached from the rear of the head. It requires re-gluing. This is a minor issue. The lamp is wired and does operate.
An Islamic brass lamp standard, probably late 19th century, allover inlaid silver and copper decoration on engraved ground, with pierced panels and original pierced and inlaid brass shade, overall height 152cm, base diameter 37cmGenerally good original condition, the very top of the shade has one of the small tips broken off and missing, no other sign of damage or repairs, the glass tasselled fringe is probably a later addition although there are holes all around the edge where a fringe has probably been attached

A 19th Century Chinese vase converted to a table lamp, decorated with Mandarin ducks, approx 35.5 cm high including wooden base but excluding metal fitting, together with a 19th Century blue and white decorated mug set with dragon handle and chinoiserie landscape throughout, 14.5 cm high, a 20th Century ginger jar decorated with lily pads, 20 cm high and a 19th Century Chinese blue and white bowl of square form, 13 cm wide, a sauceboat and similarly decorated tea plate CONDITION REPORTS The lamp has been converted, drilled to base, neck cut down and body with crazing throughout. The ginger jar has crazing throughout but this is probably part of the original design. Otherwise appears in good condition.The blue and white mug has crazing throughout and a large crack to base and chips to rim of base and chips to rim at the top. Firing crack to handle by dragon's mouth. The deep bowl has some firing blemishes ie. bubbles into the glaze which have been broken / chipped on the surface. Some small chips / blemishes to the rim. Otherwise in good condition.The small jug appears in good condition throughout though with some dirt to the surface.The small dish appears in good condition.
