A 19th century Chinese celadon glazed gourd vase, decorated in relief depicting two scrolling dragons and a flaming pearl, archaic shaped mythical lugs, below a garlic shaped rim, with ruyi sceptre decoration, 33cm high (without fitting) raised on a carved hardwood base and converted to a lamp Provenance: Ruyton Hall, Shropshire condition report; No obvious cracks or signs of restoration. Carved stand re-glued. Vase appears rather grubby with signs of glaze grazes and nicks but nothing too concerning. Of good decorative merit.
