South East & Chatham Railway square fronted 3 aspect Handlamp complete with reservoir stamped with a large letter 'A; and an unmarked burner. The lamp has company initials stamped on the side and is fitted with a large brass plate on the reducing cone 'SE&CR G8030'. The rotating drum is also clearly stamped with company initials. Totally unrestored. Together with a BR 3 aspect Handlamp, with reservoir and burner but missing blue glass and rear brass catch.
A collection of items recovered from Llangunllo comprising: Wooden Door Lock stamped L&NWR (very old); a Key marked 'Llangunllo Lamp Room'; qty 4 LMS Lamp Wick Canisters with wicks in situ; Window Sash Pulley marked L&NWR and a couple of Sash Bolts also marked; LMS Wick Trimming Scissors; BR(W) laurel-leaf gilt Capbadge; Pilotman Armband and an enamel LNWR Armband.
BR(W) Horizontal type Slip Coach Lamp. Embossed 'BR(W)' on both chimneys with a brass semi-circular plate on one chimney top 'Return To Paddington'. Complete with both reservoirs and burners etc. Measures 20 inches at widest x 14 inches tall. Excellent condition. An extremely rare lamp seldom seen.
North Eastern Railway Pot Lamp. Brass plated with the NER oval on the side and the brass internal burner is stamped 'NER' in large letters. There is a large brass plate on the chimney 'WEST HARTLEPOOL No 1 N.E.R.' The glass globe is cracked but this barely detracts for this magnificent, unrestored lamp.
Midland Railway cast iron Lamp Post complete with ladder bars. Cleary marked Midland Railway Company on the base, it stands approximately 115 inches tall from the base to the top and is ex Shustoke station. The post is out of the ground and buyer to arrange collection from Stourbridge, West Midlands.
