A Victorian silver plated Corinthian column oil lamp, with clear glass reservoir and cranberry shade. Height excluding chimney 78 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no drill holes or inscriptions to the base. The base is structurally in good order with no movement. The plating is however missing in places, particularly around the extremities and the lobed areas. The clear glass reservoir appears to be in good order. The shade is in good condition with no upper edge chips and only very very minor bottom edge nibbles which is usual. The wick mechanism appears to operate as it should. The burner mounts are dirty and tarnished.
