The base is decorated with ornamental incisions. The goddess is dressed in a long dhoti with ornamental stripes and a flaring bottom. Her chest is also covered in a patterned top with short sleeves, a beaded necklace with circular pendant is hanging around her neck. She is holding the oil lamp in her hands before her. A little parrot is sitting on her right shoulder. She has a round face, her lips are smiling and she has a broad nose and large eyes. The back of the bronze also shows the intricate detail of the garment's patterns, the fine hairlines and long braid. The Hindu goddess depicted here is most probably Deepalakshmi.
