This is together with a Colman's "mustard for the bath" hinged metal trinket 7.5cms d and 6 WAPA metal novelty spoon in original case.Condition ReportLamp untested, cream jugs one with glued handle and marks and the other with chip to rim. One sugar bowl chip to rim and another with stains, pot has graze faults and stains. Butter dish has glaze cracking to lid. Slight surface rust to Colman's metal trinket.

Urn vase missing lid and some gilt wear. No chips or cracks. Jug lamp with cracks to the handle. Meat plate in good condition.

A Victorian Silver Oil-Lamp, by James Deakin and Sons, Sheffield, 1893, on stepped square base with beaded border, the plinth applied on two sides with a classical mask, with fluted stem and Corinthian capital with cut-glass font and etched glass shade, the silver plate mounts stamped 'Messengers Patent', filled, 79cm total height . The silver fully marked on base. The mount stamped 'Messengers Patent'. The dial signed 'No. 2 Hinks Lever'. There is some surface scratching and wear to the silver. The plate is somewhat worn on the mounts. The glass is slightly ill fitting and probably replacements. The mechanism has not been checked to see if it functions properly.
An Edward VII Silver Oil-Lamp, by Mappin Brothers, Sheffield, 1901, on stepped square base with beaded border, the base engraved 'April 26 1902', with fluted stem and Corinthian capital with cut-glass font and etched glass globular shade, the silver plate mounts stamped 'Evered & Co Ltd', filled, 87cm total height . The silver fully marked on base. The collar stamped 'Evered & Co Ltd Patent Safety Lock Collar'. The dial enameled 'Hinks's No 2 Duplex'. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The mounts are silver plated and metal. The plate is somewhat worn and the metal has some corrosion. The shades are possibly later.
An Edward VII Silver Kettle, Stand and Lamp, by William Hutton and Sons, London, 1902, the kettle of oblong section, the lower body part-fluted, engraved with an inscription to Mayor and Mayoress of Hartlepool J. R. and Mrs Butterwick on one side and three coats-of-arms on the other, on conforming stand with fluted lamp and with overhead part-wood handle, 35cm high, gross weight 50oz 17dwt, 1,581gr Provenance: From the heirlooms relating to John Roger Butterwick and his wife Jane Anne, the daughter of John Coverdale of Hartlepool. John was born in Stockon-in-Tees in 1849 he was to go on to serve as Mayor of Hartlepool. He and Jane were married in 1878. . Fully marked on side and under lamp. Further part marked on stand , lamp cover and inside cover. The marks are generally clear. There is some very minor surface scratching and a bruise to one side. The inscription reads ' Presented to the Mayor and Mayoress of Hartlepool Councillor J.R. & Mrs Butterwick by the Members of the Corporation on the Celebration of their Silver Wedding September 26th 1903'.
