A 19th Century Minton (circa 1860-68) porcelain twin-handled vase (converted to a lamp base), of ovoid form, one side painted with a roundel depicting a lady carrying a basket of flowers upon her head, the opposing panel depicting trophy basket of flowers and doves within a gilt and ribboned laurel leaf wreath, all on a rich cobalt blue ground, highlighted in gilt, on a circular gilt metal base, 35 cm high (bears puce Minton and three arrows mark)
A 19th century Chinese blue and white ginger jar and cover with figural decoration (now as a table lamp), approx 26.5 cm high (not including light fitting) CONDITION REPORTS The flattened top with single black spot and pitting to the edge, together with areas of un-glazing. The body with smaller similar blackened spotting and staining and with an area of surface blistering (see photos). The circular base with some rubbing and surface scratches.
