Tender including hand feed pump water cock steps hand and lamp irons. The model finished in GNR green and black livery. 112cm long in total. Past boiler history: Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies boiler test certificate No 1473 Blackburn Leasure Live Steam Club. Expired 20th May 1995. Test pressure 130psi. Chassis detail including twin outside cylinders 1 1/4 in bore x 1 5/8 stroke slide valve Stephenson gear oiler chambers fluted motion working leaf springs hand rails steps lamps and lamp irons. Tender including water cock steps hand and lamp irons. The model finished in GNR green and black livery with oval engraved plaques Great Northern Railway Company Doncaster Works No 1172 . 112cm long. An exhibition quality model of the 4-6-0 Locomotive No 5274 Black Five built by the late Mr Frederick Owen Robinson of Kettering Northamptonshire a precision toolmaker at Stewarts & Lloyds of Corby. His father Charles Robinson built the Robinson motor car in the early 1900’s and the only surviving car in existance is displayed at The Manor House Museum Kettering. This model is finished to a very high standard with fine rivet work to fine scale cab with twin sight glasses scale regulator valves brake control and other detail. The chassis with exceptional fluted motion Walschaert’s valve gear external cylinders with multiple drain cocks fitted steps hand and lamp irons. No boiler history available. The model is finished in polished brass and steelwork having never been painted and contained in glazed and polished oak display case. It come with the tender chassis but the tender was never completed. Some drawings photographs books and the builders cased Mercer dial gauge. Locomotive 76cm long

Chassis and body details include spoked wooden wheels with metal rims turning lock coal bunker drivers seat with brass rail to back box body with foot rest brake gear bell two branches and lamp backets. The model finished in red and black paintwork with brass plate inscribed ‘shand Mason & Co. Engineers London 36cm wide 56cm long
