A pair of 19th-century French onyx, gilt metal and champléve enamel oil lamp bases of Corinthian column form with slightly differing cranberry glass reservoir (converted to electricity) 66 cm high to the top of the reservoirsQty: 2Both in good overall condition, with general surface wear commensurate with age. One lamp fitting is loose and will require attention. Some scuffs and marks to the onyx, but no apparent chips. No shades present, and as mentioned, the cranberry glass reservoirs are of slightly different design.

Discoloration to the metal throughout as expected from age. Some dirt/dust gathered in the recessed areas of the work.

Wooden base with caramel and green slag glass shade.Height: 17 in x width: 18 1/2 in x depth: 11 1/2 in.Condition:Turns on when tested. Not tested for prolonged use. Overall, the pieces of the lamp are slightly loose and could use some light reinforcement. Wear including small losses to the stain, light scuffs and scratches, and areas of rubbing to the wood throughout. To one of the side triangular pieces of glass there are several cracks; they are held together with a piece of tape along the interior and exterior. No other cracks.
