A Chinese jade quartz Buddha head lamp, on a wooden stand, 28 cm high, a similar figural lamp, and hardwood stand, 27 cm high (2) Condition report Report by NG Head: Approx 14.5 cm high without lamp base, 27.5 cm high with base, several knocks and bumps, largest chip around base, approx 1.5 cm high. Figure: approx 22.5 cm high without base, 25.5 cm high with lamp base fitting, again with knocks and bumps, most severe around base. Both with many internal fractures.
A pair of glass lustres, a pair of white overlaid cranberry glass lamps, and an opaque glass lamp (damages) (box) Condition report Report by NG A pair of cranberry cased glass lamps, approx. 31 cm high (including fitments). One lamp chipped externally around base, other with chip visible internally. Both with surface scratches and wear and extensive losses to gilt decoration. Opaque glass lamp approx. 53.5 cm high (including fitting). Several cracks visible in glass and extensive wear to gilt decoration. Candlesticks: approx. 24.5 cm high to top excluding candelabra branches, approx. 39.5 cm high to top fitting of three branches. Couple of small chips to lobes to top of sticks and wear to base otherwise main body seems in good condition. Candelabra arms complete apart from one chip to lower branch near fitting. Some of the glass has been super glued into fittings and glass has blistered. Chips and losses to rest of fittings. Please see photographs.
A carved wood blackamoor lamp, on stand, with gilt and painted decoration, 177 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB From a London client, who use to live in Park Lane and Grosvenor Square. 20th century, but not modern. Some repairs, repainting and touching up, although nothing particularly recent by the look of it. The tray on the hand is loose, having only been crudely attached with a screw. Some cracks, general knocks to the paint, wear and tear.
