A pair of black painted five branch electroliers, a seven branch electrolier in the Dutch manner, a pair of metal mounted hanging lanterns, together with a box containing three bronzed metal twin branch wall light fittings CONDITION REPORTS Glass panels to the square tapering lanterns - only three panels present, large sections are missing from both lanterns. The Dutch style hanging lamp has a screw at the bottom rather than a ball, a lot of wear and patination to the brass and pitting etc. The pair of contemporary hanging lights appear to be made of patinated resin (not brass), there are no shade with these, general wear and tear to include scrapes, knocks etc. The wall lights are not matching, and are in similar condition to the above. Please see images. Sizes approx: pair of lanterns 39cm high x 21 cm wide, single dutch style electrolier 42cm high x 60cm deep, pair of modern style electroliers 51cm high x 54cm deep.

Lot 181

A black painted pine chest with iron hinges and handles on a plinth base, together with a military Morse Code box with signalling lamp, together with a military water flask CONDITION REPORTS Trunk has various scuffs and scrapes and a repair / dowelled area to the front to the right of the lock. There is some splitting to the joins. The morse code box - canvas cover is worn in several places, roughness, dents, flaking to tin work, not known whether complete nor whether working. Dirt. Glass on the lamp has various blemishes. The water bottle - stopper is not original, the felt cover has moth holes and may be a later replacement, stitching to the top is later.

A collection of 19th Century and later oil lamps to include Art Nouveau style oil lamp with clear cut glass bowl raised on metal base to four ball feet and with green clear glass etched shade, a 19th Century oil lamp with columnar base, clear cut glass bowl and floral decorated glass shade, an oil lamp on a cast metal base with yellow glass bowl and clear glass shade and a further oil lamp with cast metal base and clear cut glass bowl, together with a collection of nine miniature oil lamps to include cranberry glass examples, ruby glass example, etc, and a collection of glass chimneys CONDITION REPORTS Shades and chimneys appear to be associated. The tallest oil lamp with the black circular base has various damage and cracks and breaks to base, tarnish to column, the metal mount is stamped "Hinks & Son's Patent". The art nouveau style tall oil lamp on four ball feet has tarnish and dirt to stand. All glass items throughout have some frits, chips and losses, wear and scuffs. Height of tallest lamp is approx 50cm. from foot to top of metal mount but excluding shade. The three large glass shades - the clear one with the etched decoration has some frits and chips to edge of underside, some general wear and scuffs. The large shade with green rim, some frits and roughness to rim to underside, some chips to top rim, does not ring when tapped so possible crack or fault line. The large shade with polychrome floral decoration has some chips and roughness rim to underside and some small chips to top rim.
