A pair of large 19th Century Chinese Canton porcelain Vases, each with two handles modelled as Karashishi and cub and each with two applied lizards either side above vignettes decorated with exotic birds, roses and panels with figures in interior surroundings in typical style in enamels in the famille rose palette, 45cm high CONDITION REPORT: One vase with rubbing to top neck rim approx. 6cm, overall condition appears to be good with no restoration detected via u.v. lamp, minor wear to enamels commensurate with age, the vase with the Lot number on has minor chips to underside of flaring neck rim.
A pair of 19th century Continental hand-decorated porcelain Figures in early style dress, the male with a grapevine and the female with a basket of roses, blue painted and impressed marks to underside, 15cm CONDITION REPORT: Female figure has damage to the lower right section of the salmon coloured ribbon to her waist, overall both figures in good condition with minor losses, no restoration detected under u.v. lamp.
A pair of late-19th century Continental hand-decorated porcelain Figure Models, two couples each elaborately dressed, their gown and jackets decorated with roses etc., the taller Figure 13cm CONDITION REPORT: The figures with no hats, the left hand gentleman figure has a chip to the hair, the figures with hats, the gentleman with the Napoleon style hat has a small chip to the right hand corner (pinhead sized), no restoration detected with u.v. lamp, overall condition good.
A Wemyss Preserve Jar and Lid with typical fruit painting, signed Wemyss to base by Nekola CONDITION REPORT: There are glaze chips and losses to the main body rim on the green painted border, the body with some glaze crazing, the lid with glaze crazing and some minor staining, no restoration detected under u.v. lamp.
A circular Chinese porcelain Brush Washer, turquoise-blue ground and four-character mark to underside, 7cm diameter, together with carved Chinese hardwood stand, the five feet carved as Ruyi heads CONDITION REPORT: No chips or cracks detected under u.v. lamp, no restoration, ink stains to rim and base foot rim, (see images).
Tiffany Studios, New York, a fine Art Nouveau style circular topped Occasional Table (possibly originally a lamp base), the pineapple style finial above a circular black marble top and cast bronze and pierced cast bronze base in high Art Nouveau style terminating in four splaying feet modelled as tendrils, stamp cast bronze underside Tiffany Studios, New York and numbered 442, 45cm diameter x 50cm high (to top of marble) CONDITION REPORT: This has come from an Eastern royal family. The pineapple style finial has been removed from the centre of the table but as you can see there is a circular washer and a screw thread sticking which is not easily removable.
