The distinctive lamps of Paris date back to 1594, when the local police took charge of installing lanterns in each city neighbourhood. This lamp features a meticulously restored original crown top, as well as a recreated glass shade and metal frame. Adapted to suit a modern garden, it has a replacement cast iron period pole which has been reduced in size, and a copper reflector rather than the traditional white, giving a warmer light, perfect for a summer's night.
