An Elizabeth II silver three light candelabra Charles S. Green & Co. Ltd., Birm. 1972, 10in. (25.5cm.) high, gross weight 22.25 tr.oz.; together with a silver plated candle lamp with shade by St. Hilaire of Paris; and a silver plated early Georgian-style chocolate pot. (3) *Condition: Very good condition overall. One tab on the joint of the shade's silver plated mount is broken. Chocolate pot has some cracks to lacquer on handle. No other faults.
A good pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Boys' vase lamps 19th century, the vases of stout baluster form, painted in polychrome enamels with three groups of three boys varying auspicious objects, the groups surrounding large suspended pendant motifs, each with a large blue-green bat holding a lantern decorated with tassels and suspending a lotus flower, over a floral lappet pendant border in turquoise with pink and lavender borders, the upstanding neck with flowers and foliage on a yellow ground, the vases 13in. (33cm.) high plus lamp fittings, which are inserted from the neck and have not damaged the vases. (2) *Condition: Very good overall - no chips, cracks or other faults. The lamp fittings have not caused any damage, drill holes etc. to the vases. Enamelled decoration very good, with just a little very minor wear to the iron red edge lining in places around the base and a few tiny nicks and scratches.
A Chinese porcelain flambe glazed lamp, the stoutly potted vase with a thick, streaked and mottled blue glaze with white pooling to the glaze in places and large dark, think spots to the neck, the vase 10in. (25.5cm.) high, glued repair to rim, glaze chipping to base, drilled.*Condition: Large v-shaped piece and two smaller pieces beside this have been off from the rim and have old glued repairs. The edge of the base has several large glaze flakes and a piece of glaze has been off and glued back. Has a drilled base from the lamp conversion.
Channel Islands maritime interest - Armas Cargo Ship copper mast head lamp ran aground November 26th, 1973, Nannels Reef, Alderney, (Reportedly salvaged by local Guernsey diver Richard Keen), of typical rounded triangular form, having ribbed clear glass, two applied plaques "14177", later converted to electricity, 14in. (35.6cm.) high. *Condition: Working, but would need new electrics ( Pat testing) etc.
A brass bulkhead lamp early 20th century, by E.L.I Griffiths & Sons, Birmingham, 1911, stamped as per title to chimney over angled glazed body with Bulpitt burner, swing handle with turned wooden grip, 16in. (40.7cm.) high without handle raised. *Condition: Side right glazed panel with crack to upper left corner, otherwise good, having light wear.
A French 19th century gilt bronze candlestick lamp the urn sconce with beaded drip pan, on a fluted and swagged waisted column, to a fluted, husk and bead decorated circular base, 10 5/8in. (27cm.) high; together with a brass Corinthian column candlestick lamp; and a pair of neo-classical black painted reconstituted marble table lamps, 16¾in. (42.5cm.) high. (4) *Condition: - Gilt bronze lamp: Wear to gilding throughout, otherwise good. - Brass candlestick lamp: Corner of drip pan slightly bent, base drilled. - Pair lamps: A few paint chips and rubs to edges, small chip to one base, one lacks the fluted mount on top of column capital.
Schneider - Le Verre Francais cameo glass lamp base 1920s, the swollen column with organic spreading circular base, having orange and green polychrome inclusions on yellow ground, signed to base 'Le Verre Francais', 9½in. (24.1cm.) high. (base only) *Condition: No chips or cracks found, light wear to upper neck, good condition.
A Muller Fres cameo glass lamp base the ovoid stem on a wide circular foot with three flex frills, decorated with a wooded lake landscape in dark grey over orange-red glass, signed 'Muller Fres Luneville' to foot, 8½in. (21.5cm.) high, lacks fittings. *Condition: Very small chip to top of neck rim. Scuffs and scratching from the original metal fittings to neck. Tiny gloss flaw spot to frosted finish on foot. Tiny bubble flaw to body.
A Plaue porcelain figural oil lamp with central white reservoir applied with pink roses and flanked by three winged putti, on a naturalistic circular base, with cranberry glass shade, underglaze blue factory marks, overall height 36.5cm high together with a further porcelain oil lamp modelled as cactus, unmarked, possibly Moore & Co, with opaque white glass shade, 35cm high (2)
A Victorian electrified oil lamp, with an embossed brass column decorated with stylised floral motifs below a cranberry tinted opaque glass reservoir moulded with trailing garlands, together with an etched wryten globular glass shade, a further emerald tinted moulded glass shade and a clear glass chimney (4).
A carved oak table lamp, loosely in the Adam style, with a shallow carved squared tapering stem over a scrolling acanthus carved base, 43 cm high, the base underside inset with a plaque reading ' This stand is made from a piece of the original oak of which the Roof of Westminster Hall was constructed in 1394/1399 by King Richard II. Much of the timber must have been taken from trees planted in the 8th, 9th and 10th Centuries A.D. The roof was repaired in 1914 - 1924 under the control of H.M Office of Works, the Contractors being Mess. Joseph Westwood & Co Ltd.
