MOORCROFT; a 'Magnolia' pattern tubeline decorated lamp base modelled as a ginger jar on dark blue ground, impressed marks to base, height 16cm excluding fitment. CONDITION REPORT: Extensive crazing to the glaze throughout, areas of painting imperfections (the blue colour of ground is covering some of the magnolia patterns), surface dirt, wear to base.
Lot 706
A pair of French porcelain table oil lamps modelled as a footed Roman lamp on tripartite base painted with floral and foliate scroll motifs, with gilt bands and a seated figure with pitcher, unmarked, length 24cm (both af). CONDITION REPORT: Both covers are badly af, both restored, one broken in pieces and crudely reglued, one of the lamps has got the spout broken off and reglued, the top rim and tip of the spout and front part of the pitcher are restored, the place where the main body is attached to the stem appears to be reglued, the other lamp appears to be in better condition with no obvious traces of damage or heavy restoration apart from some surface dirt, both with areas of rubbing to the gilt particularly to raised parts and edges, some surface dirt.

A late 19th/early 20th century porcelain lamp base of baluster form overall painted with floral motifs with garden background, with gilt metal mounts and circular base, height 48cm excluding fitment. CONDITION REPORT: Areas of flaking to the paint, some surface dirt, some rubbing to gilt and some tarnish and pitting to the gilt metal parts.
