Itemised inspection certificates - dated 24th February, 16th and 23rd April and 7th May 2003 (report No 0254/03) by J & H Surveying Co Ltd, Marine Surveyors - number and detail the items exported. A copy is available at Cheffins’ offices. The shipment arrived in Felixstowe, UK on 29th May 2003 and was received for transhipment by Redfern International Logistics of Leeds, recorded in their sales invoice no. IDSI2926, which details fees paid for the appropriate Sea Import Customs and Sea Import Documentation. A Victorian onyx and champleve enamel oil lamp, with cranberry glass reservoir etched with a gilt quiver of arrows and flaming torch united by a ribbon to each side, the column with gilt metal Corinthian capital above the enamel and onyx column, the raised square baes with chamfered edges, 61cm high excluding electrical fitting.Condition report: Converted to electricity. Small nicks and bruises to the base corners, but nothing too significant. A couple of tiny nicks to the onyx platform surface above the capital. The reservoir is fixed into the brass fitting rather untidily.

A 6cm age split near the base.
