An rare early 19th century Davy lamp with a cage of four steel bars protecting the gauze, the front accommodates a magnifying lens, the whole on a brass reservoir base, height including suspension ring 32.5cm, diameter of the base 6.3cm. (See illustration) Condition Report: some minor dents, glass is good, gauze is good, overall good condition.

Swansea inkwell circa 1820 moulded as a shell, painted with roses, also one other English porcelain oil lamp shaped inkwell, (2) The Swansea inkwell measures 8cm wide. Condition report: The Swansea inkwell has firing cracks to the body and to the rim, there is gilt wear and very tiny nicks to the point of the quill holder. The other inkwell wear to the gilding.

Art deco style table lamp of two marbled glass globes and a silvered spelter group of two dancers, overall height 65cm. Condition report: glass shades not cracked, some small chips around the openings; some spotting to the patination; the figure stem sits on the bottom globe, it isn't fixed in any way. This item has not been tested for electrical safety. It should not be connected to an electricity supply until it has been tested.
