Two trays containing Hornby layout accessories: 1939-41 Station No.4E buff building, tinprinted buff speckled platform with 'Ripon' ramps, with electric blue colour lamp shades, square topped arch over booking hall (VG); with 1929-30 No.2 station 'Windsor' red brick building, repainted yellow/cream platform, car by the entrance on reverse has two side windows, with 'Windsor' ramps (G); two No.2 signal cabins; 2 x No.2 clockwork turntables (one repainted); post-war No.2 distant signal; No.2 footbridge white with blue edges, repainted; Bing small turntable with turning wheel (working); 5 x No.1 and 6 x hydraulic buffers (one by Bing). Many items will benefit from cleaning.
1928-9 Hornby 4-4-2 loco & tender 'Caerphilly Castle' originally either 4 or 6 v but vendor's sticker states 'rewound 20v'. 4073 on cab not on the plate, black smokebox, 4 boiler bands, solid rear splasher lining, brass svc, chimney & whistle black, 'Great crest Western' coal rail tender. Loco is in play-worn condition with noticeable re-touching, many marks, smokebox door without the lamp holder (F-G). The tender is total repaint including the base & wheels, with slight creasing (G) as repaint.
Four hand lamps of different regions, including an LMS red hand lamp, 191 written to the rear, and a small dent to the lid, an LMS white lamp, partially repainted, with LMS imprinted on the lid, and a London transport lamp, with hinged door, an LT imprinted on the side, and an unmarked silver lamp, partially repainted, with an original candle.

A pair of brass floor standing reading lamps, each of simple column form with dual pivoting adjustable arm and triangular section shade115cm highThere is scratching/tarnishing to both of the shades, particularly one than the other. The lamp was part of an eccentric interior scheme by McGrath, commissioned around 1932 by the then owner of Villa Finella, Mansfield D Forbes.A couple of dents to the cover, some loss of copper finish and further pitting, blacking with overpainting, one securing rod missing from cover, general scuffs and wear commensurate with age. From a property clearance and thus no known provenance.
