Edgar Brandt (1880-1960) Boa A bronze and copper floor lamp 166cm high Purchased by the vendors Mother direct from Edgar Brandts workshop in the late 1930s this may account for the unusual copper shade. This lot comes with a letter from Etablissements Edgar Brandt departement Ferronnerie dated 1947. See illustration briefly translated it mentions the delivery of the lamp and an explanation regarding the unavailablity of replacing the copper shade with an alabaster example.
