An unusual 19th century silver-plated chamber stick; the candle holder modelled as a lamp with large anthemion-style motifs in high relief, the domed-top snuffer decorated with stiff leaves, the foliate-style vacant cartouche surrounded by a key fret border, on short circular foot also decorated with key fret motifs (16.5cm diameter) Stamped to the inner sconce 'D.S 5982'. Plate with surface scratches commensurate with age and wear otherwise good.

An unusual Chinese enamelled vase (as a lamp); unusually decorated with a highly enamelled scene of a dignitary in a wheelchair on a terrace with numerous figures surrounding, the shoulders enamelled with lappets, the neck with matching decoration to the body, last quarter 19th century,  This unusual vase was either decorated in Japan on a Chinese blank or at studio in China (the vase not including electrical fitting 35.5cm high)This has been converted to a lamp, it has not been drilled and the overall condition is good.  The lamp fitting has been glued in rather unceremoniously to the inside of the neck but appears to be in good general order with no hairlines, cracks or restoration noted.
