A pair of Victorian novelty satin glass oil lamps, probably by Thomas Webb, in the form of pineapples, graduated from amber to pale yellow with gold painted detail, brass burner fittings, converted to electricity, 8¾in. (22.25cm.) high, plus lamp fittings. (2)* For a vase with similar quilted decoration by Thomas Webb, see 'Decorative Victorian Glass', Cyril Manley, p.62.** Condition: Visible glass in good condition with no chips, cracks or other damage, bottom of lamps centrally drilled for cable, cleaning needed.

A pair of Chinese white glazed soft paste porcelain vases, possibly Qing Dynasty, 18th century, the very short, circular foot rising into a body of exaggerated baluster form, into an upright neck with flat, unglazed top to rim, incised with flowers and foliage within diaper and scrolled vine borders, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high. (2)* Condition: No chips, cracks or other damage. No restoration. Both vases have some brown dirt marks / stains around the unglazed top of the rim, which are stubborn and not easily removed. These are possibly the residue from lamp fittings, although we are not sure. As the rims are unglazed, these vases may original have had covers. Both vases have a few tiny dark brown kiln dust spots to the glaze.
