A large Chinese inlaid and enamelled bronze vase, late 19th century, of flattened pear shaped, decorated in relief on one side with a fisherman with a net of fish, the reverse with a figure carrying sticks, against a ground inlaid and enamelled with shou medallions, bats and clouds, between animal mask borders, 55.5cm. high, adapted as a lamp. A George II silver tea kettle, stand and lamp, Daniel Chartier, London 1743, later chased with chinoiserie figures in landscapes, with raffia covered swing handle, on three scroll feet, later engraved with inscription and initials, 30.3cm high, gross weight 1764 gms.
