A pair of late-19th / early-20th century Chinese baluster-shaped porcelain Vases and Covers hand-decorated in enamels in the famille rose style with figures and landscapes within vignettes above a stiff lappet border base; hand-painted six-character mark in red to underside; each approx. 36cm high (including covers),
A small circa 1900 Chinese porcelain vase and cover painted in underglaze blue with a figure, together with a tea bowl (damaged) (2) CONDITION REPORT: The cup has been badly damaged and re-glued. The Vase looks in reasonable condition with no cracks, chips or restoration noted although there is kiln grit to the underside of the foot.
Four Chinese porcelain plates: one painted in underglaze blue with panels of female musicians and flowers, circa 1880; two with flowers and trees and complex borders, mid-18th century export; and a curious deep Dish, simply decorated with three blue enamel sprays of asters at the rim (4) CONDITION REPORT: The plate with the lot number on it has hairlines and is discoloured, it is 22.5cm. The plate with the panels and eight figures appears OK but is quite stained. There is a small match head sized chip piece of porcelain away from the edge, the diameter is 24cm. The dished bowl is quite discoloured and exhibits minor rim fritting but appears reasonable otherwise, diameter 23cm. The larger Delft style bowl has minor chips away to the underside of the edge of the lip, exhibits some staining although this can be washed off. Minor rim fritting, diameter 27.5cm.
A rare 18th century Worcester porcelain bowl; very finely gilded and decorated with a Japan pattern, the interior decorated centrally with prunus and the high circular foot with two concentric circles surrounding a 'Chinese' four-character mark in blue, 17.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Minor scratching exhibited on the inside of the bowl when viewed under a glass. Some glaze crazing, some minor rubbing to gilt edge border. The main decoration looks good and bright. The underside of the foot rim has several very minor chips but upon close inspection the Auctioneer thinks this was probably caused by the firing process as they are covered in glaze and this doesn't look as if it's been done subsequently.
A 19th century Chinese porcelain Sleeve Vase hand-decorated in underglaze blue-and-white with figures, birds and sprigs of prunus blossom etc., four-character painted blue mark to underside, (formerly as a lamp base, with remnants of glue to the underside), 30.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: The Vase although not drilled was formerly a lamp base and as a result there is quite a lot of glue to the underside of the base. A small amount of rim fritting around the edge of the Vase otherwise appears in good original condition with no major problems.
An early 20th century circular Chinese porcelain box, the cover decorated in famille rose enamels with a scene of children playing outside in open countryside, powder blue border surrounding and powder blue base, six-character red Qianlong seal mark to underside, 8cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: The piece appears OK with just some glaze crazing apparent under an eye glass.

There is a very small piece of glaze/pottery away from the top of the finial shaped like a bird and a tiny piece away to the outside of the rim on the inside of the vase cover.
A large 19th century Chinese Canton porcelain Vase, the neck (broken, damaged and repaired) with Karashishi and cubs and also with applied chilong dragons above a main body hand-decorated in enamels in the famille rose palette, 61cm high CONDITION REPORT: There has been a large piece of the top of the lip of the vase broken and re-glued. Also the two tails of the Karashishi handles have been broken off (not present), the applied Chilong dragons appear to be in reasonable condition and the rest of the Vase also appears to be in original condition. Of the two Karashishi each Karashishi has a cub and the cub where the lot number label is tied on that tail has also gone so three of the four Karashishi have tails missing.
