His collection of early jades were acquired by the Field Museum, Chicago in 1928 and most of his Chinese paintings were bought by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1947. Provenance: A.W. A 19th Century Chinese antique Kangxi mark porcelain ' Garlic Mouth ' vase having hand painted blue and white decoration depicting lizards within fan shaped panels. Large globular body with tapered cylindrical neck and disk shaped rim. Six character Kangxi reign mark to underside in blue Kaishu script. Measures: 32cm tall. Condition. One gaze fault to base (under the glaze) otherwise in good condition.

2 Chinese blue and white porcelain rectangular table lamps on hardwood stands, height 26cm, and a porcelain blue and white box with lid.The pair of new table lamps are in good condition with no damage. There are some light surface scratches only. These will need to be rewired as they are currently fitted with a two pin plug.The victorian blue and white pot and cover. The lid has some surface glazing chips around the edges and handle. The interior of the box has a 0.5cm chip along the top edge and on one of the dividers. There are several other smaller surface glazing chips around the top edge and surface wear.The two lamp bases are both modern.

Seven Chinese Transitional blue and white stemcups from the Hatcher Cargo, circa 1643, each painted with a dragon pursuing a flaming pearl, each approximately 4.5cm high, (7). Condition Report There is some variance in size. Some wear to the glaze due to being underwater. One cup has been broken and glued with two small pieces of porcelain missing. Another has a haircrack to the rim, approx. 1.5cm. length. Another cup has some patches of brown staining. Four cups are in overall good condition.
