A Chinese blanc de chine porcelain three piece suite of bowls with incised decoration to the outside and inside depicting two confronting dragons chasing the pearl of wisdom, comprising a pair of tapering bowls, diameter 19.5cm, and a squat bell shaped example, diameter 20cm, each on raised foot and six character mark to base (af) (3) CONDITION REPORT: One of the tapering bowls has two chips to underneath of the brim the other one with chip to the edge of the rim, the bell shaped bowl with two hairlines spreading from the rim, each approx. 8cm, all bowls with minor areas of firing imperfections and some circles dirt. The marks on the base are white on white porcelain. We have tried taking images, two of which are on the website however, there are nearly impossible to see.
A c.1800 Chinese Export porcelain circular bowl with mould peony and bamboo gilt heightened and iron red contoured decoration to the outside painted in under glazed blue with floral spray to the centre, unmarked, diameter 28cm, with residues of old sticker. CONDITION REPORT: Appears to be in good condition rings "true", several areas of rubbing to the gilt and iron red paint, some surface dirt, otherwise with no other traces of damage or restoration.
A pair of Chinese turquoise porcelain dogs of fo, each seated on a plinth base, height 25cm. Condition report: Top nob of spine slight floor! CX, fig. 3(B) Note: The `Chicken Patern` design is a classic associated with Imperial porcelain. Originally conceived during the Ming Dynasty, under the reign of the Chenghua Emperor (1465-1487), it`s popularity was revived during the early Qing Dynasty, particularly during the reigns of the Yongzheng and Qinalong Emperors, who especially revered the Chenghua prototypes. The Chicken (gongji) and Cockscomb plant (jigusanhua) combined together is a pun for `May you continuously rise in rank` (guanshang jiaguan). The second character (guwan) in the name of the flower is a pun for `official`. The cockerel also bears a cockscomb, yet another pun for `official`. Condition Report: Slight discolouration. Generally good condition
20th Century porcelain Chinese pot and cover decorated with fish, together with two handled, pink scroll design vase with six character mark to base. (2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Fish pot - frits to inside rim of cover. General wear/scuffs but no obvious damage. Vase - no obvious damage. 16cm high.

(10)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Jug - loss to gilding. Minor frits to spout. Dish/teapot stand - large hairline crack through body hence many repairs.
