An impressive Chinese porcelain blue and white vase, 18th century, of square onion shaped form, painted to each facet with landscapes of a fisherman within a forest landscape, a man in contemplation in his home looking on water and pine trees, a landscape of a traveller on a donkey in mountains and a traveller on a donkey with his acolyte, with lines of calligraphy and seal marks painted to the neck, drilled to base, 53cm. high CONDITION REPORT: overall in good condition, minor glaze spits all over, slight chip to rim, piece retained, other fritting/chips to high points on base
A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain baluster vases, 19th century, painted and decorated with flowing dragons chasing flaming pearls, above stylised waves, one lacking lid, 63cm. high(2) CONDITION REPORT: Large chunk out of rim on one vase, also cracks and hairlines to body. Second vase with rim chips. Lid with chips to underside of rim.
A collection of Chinese blue and white porcelain from the Ca Mau shipwreck, circa 1725, painted with foliage, Chinese figures and pagodas in landscape, to compromise nineteen small teacups, twenty one saucers and a seal paste jar, some with label to base Ca Mau-Binh Thuam, Sotheby's Unicom, serial no and certificate. Note: The Ca Mau shipwreck was recovered off the coast of the town Ca Mau in Vietnam in the late 90's. The cargo, mostly from Jingdezhen has been dated to the Yongzheng period 1723-1735. CONDITION REPORT: overall some items have minor chips, no more than 10 in total, overall looks in good condition
