The Condition Is Good, No Restoration or Damage, Except for Odd Tiny Frit Mark.
A Chinese Ming style porcelain figure of Guanyin goddess of love in flowing robes, profusely decorated predominantly in blue, pink and green, holding child, on a naturalistic setting on wooden base, unmarked, 40cm high.Reputed by the vendor brought back from China in 1896, by Mr. Wallin, Queen Victoria's envoy.
A Chinese blue and white porcelain double gourd vase, 19th century, decorated with flower heads and scrolling foliage, above a formal lappet band to the base and diaper band to the neck, 11¾in. (30cm.) high, repair to rim. * Condition: Glued breaks to neck rim, with a few glaze flakes from the porcelain along the breaks. Two small chips to footrim from the making. No other damage or restoration noted.
An 18th century Chinese export blue and white porcelain bowl, decorated in underglaze blue with buildings, trees and a fisherman on a bridge in a lake landscape, 5¾in. (14.5cm.) diameter; together with a similarly decorated cup and saucer, the saucer 5 3/8in. (13.7cm.) diameter. (3) * Condition: - Bowl: Glaze chip inside and outside rim and some glaze loss to approx. 25% of rim in that area. Firing line above footrim and glaze flaw to decoration below large pagoda. No other damage. - Saucer: Glaze chip to outside rim and some glaze rim to rim edge. No other faults. - Cup: Glaze chip to rim beside handle and dark kiln spot to interior glaze.

(29)* Condition: - Gilt figural tea bowls x 2 + saucer: One cup & saucer good cdn. The other bowl with small chip and hairlin - Mandarin pattern tea bowl & saucer: Saucer good, tea bowl has two faint hairlines. - Large slop bowl: Good cdn. Some glaze wear inside bowl and chip to inside of footrim from the making. - Small slop bowl: 1½in. hairline and two small glaze chips to rim. - 5 x matching tea cups: One with small glaze chip to rim. Otherwise good, with some wear to pink flowers. - Two single cups: Both have hairline to rim, and one also has crack to base of handle. - Matching tea bowl & saucer (feathered rim decoration): Good cdn. - Matching tea bowl & saucer & extra tea bowl (purple scroll rim decoration): Small hairline to rim of one bowl, and 1in. hairline tsaucer - Matching tea bowl & saucer (iron red scroll to rim): Hairline to tea bowl and rim chip to saucer. - Five single saucers: All good, with no damage. - Three single tea bowls: Two with a few glaze frits to rim. One with hairline.
A Chinese Ming period heavy porcelain inkpot or inkwell, 15th / early 16th century, of shallow drum form with bands of raised hobnail decoration to the rim and foot, glazed overall with a thick bluish glaze, the flat top with cobalt blue painted spoked wheel decoration and blue painted band to the hobnails beneath, centred by a glazed well with overhanging rim, the unglazed footrim with visible wheel marks, 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) diameter, 1½in. (3.8cm.) high. * Condition: Three shallow chips to rim of well and a small chip and some minor frits to outer rim and hobnails. Some glaze wear to outer edge of top. Deep scratched patch from the making (under glaze) to side.

(37.8cm.). (2) * Condition: Good condition, with no damage or restoration.
A small Chinese 18th century blue and white porcelain gu form vase, flared neck with floral and scroll border above cylindrical body bearing flowering prunus trees in vases, 4¾in. (12cm.) high. * Condition: Two small chips and glaze wear around base rim. Tiny glaze flaw to rim. Extensive burst air bubbles to glaze to interior.
A 18th century Chinese export porcelain platter, of scalloped, oval form, with floral decoration to the well, the outer side walls decorated with floral sprays, 15¼in (38.8cm.) long.* Condition: Some small glaze frits to rim. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Some wear, flakes and scratches to enamelled decoration in well and right side of rim, most notably to yellow and pale blue leaves and petals of large deep pink flower. Some wear to gilt decoration throughout. Hanging wires are attached but do not appear to have caused any damage. Old hand written collection labels to base. Has been examined under UV light and there is no evidence of any repairs, repainting or other restoration.
An 18th century Chinese export armorial porcelain part tea service, comprising a baluster form tea caddy with cover and applied scroll base, a baluster sparrow beak milk jug and cover, a hexagonal spoon tray and teapot stand, seven tea bowls, a coffee cup and five saucers, all decorated with two crossed floral cornucopia above a basket of flowers and gilt monogram, the caddy 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high, some pieces a/f. (17) * Condition: All pieces have some gilt wear. - Caddy: Semi-circular discoloured hairline to inside of rim - just visible to exterior. - Jug: Cover borken in two pieces and glued. Small unglazed area to rim (from the making). No other damage.- Spoon dish: Good condition. - Teapot stand: Some light wear to decoration. Otherwise good. - Tea bowls: Two good with no faults. Two good but with tiny glaze frit to rim. One with restored break to bowl. One with small chip to footrim. One with small rim chip. - Coffee cup: Shallow chip inside rim and one tiny glaze frit. No other damage. - Saucers: One good. One with tiny glaze frit to rim. Two with several small rim chips and one with small chip and 1in. hairline to rim.
A Chinese wucai porcelain dragon vase, early 20th century, trumpet form neck with raised mask design, finned bulbous central section to flared base, dragon and phoenix decoration, underglaze chrysanthemum form incised motif to underside, 14in. (35.7cm.) high. * Condition: No chips, cracks or other damage found, a good clean needed, good condition overall.
Two Chinese famille rose export porcelain teapots, Republic period, one of tapered circular form, painted in enamels with four immortals and calligraphy, 3¼in. (8.25cm.) high, the other of cup form, painted in colours with noble figures and their attendants in landscapes, red printed seal mark to base, 3 5/8in. (9.25cm.) high, both with peach finial to cover; together with a Chinese famille verte rouleau vase, 20th century, enamelled with a peacock standing on a rock amidst flowering peonies, 10¼in. (26cm.) high. (3)* Condition: - Immortals teapot: Hairline to sides and below joint of spout and body. Gilt wear to rim. - Other teapot: Gilt wear to rim and finial. Two very small glaze chips to tip of spout. Otherwise good. - Vase: Good condition, with no chips or cracks. Minor wear to gilt to centre of one flower.
An antique Chinese green crackle glazed porcelain bowl, of shallow, flared conical form, in bottle green crackle glaze with brown matt glazed rim, the base with incised spiral decoration, 9¾in. (24.75cm.) diameter, restored rim chips. * Condition: Two restored chips to rim - one shallow, restored chip to top edge of rim - approx. 2.5in. long and 1-2mm. deep. The other approx. 12 x 6mm. to inside of rim. Both filled and overpainted. Two other small overpainted glaze chips to rim. Wear to surface of interior glaze and a band of scratching to interior, approx. 1.5in. below rim. A few surface scratches to glaze to exterior.
