A collection of 18th century Chinese porcelain blue and white plates, to include a tobacco leaf example, 23cm diameter, a pair of pagoda and bridge pattern examples, 23cm diameter, and four further examples (at fault) (7) CONDITION REPORT:All but one of the plates show repaired breaks. The unrepaired plate shows chips and hairline cracks to the rim. All plates show wear to the rims and foot rims, firing pits and frits, and hairline cracks. All would benefit from cleaning.

A large fragment is replace with a papier mache like material. Glue residue visible. Chips and losses to border. Heavy loss to enamel and gilt decoration.Bowl: Several large fractures and extensive rivet repair. Large chip missing from the rim, with extensive nibbles and chips around the rim. Signs of possible later repair to the enamel decoration.Ginger jar: Large cracks and fractures throughout, signs of later repair. Extensive crazing throughout.Tea bowl: Large intersecting cracks to the rim and running down the bowl. A collectors' lot comprising miniature bisque figures of mainly children, cherubs, birds and shoes, displayed under a Victorian dome on wooden base, together with a quantity of various small and miniature mainly ceramic and resin animals and figures including Buddha, Wade animals, Chinese seated figures, hardstone miniature elephants, a glass paperweight, a pair of Crown Devon for Fortnum and Mason covered jam pots, etc and a 20th century Chinese porcelain bowl with tube lined decoration of a pair of cockerels fighting, painted marks to base (af), diameter 28cm, also five copies of 'The Lady' from the late 19th century.
