The unrepaired plate shows chips and hairline cracks to the rim. All plates show wear to the rims and foot rims, firing pits and frits, and hairline cracks. All would benefit from cleaning.

A selection of 18th century Chinese porcelain, to include a large Qianlong basin, decorated with two deer (Lu), within a cell diaper cavetto and rim, 39cm diameter (at fault), and three assorted blue and white pattern meat plates, each of assorted graduated rectangular form, with canted corners, largest 37cm wide (at fault)
Shipwreck interest: Eight Chinese porcelain tea bowls, 18th century, to include four Batavian glazed examples, with internal blue and white decoration, three blue and white decorated examples, and one imari decorated example, five baring Ca Mau shipwreck labels to side (8) (at fault)CR; One example has been broken and previously repaired. Some examples show hairline cracks. Five of the bowls show several chips and nibbles to the rim. All examples show a mild to moderate degree of wear and tear to the foot, outer surface and interior. Please see pictures for illustration.
A selection of Chinese porcelain, predominantly 18th century to include a canted rectangular rouge de fer palette meat plate, 24cm wide, a famille rose punch bowl, 24cm diameter, a Song dynasty tea bowl, 6cm high, an imari saucer, 11cm diameter, a Ming dynasty blue and white box and cover, 10cm diameter, and a small blue and white ginger jar, 8cm high (6) (at fault)CR: Meat plate: Large breakage and later repair. A large fragment is replace with a papier mache like material. Glue residue visible. Chips and losses to border. Heavy loss to enamel and gilt decoration.Bowl: Several large fractures and extensive rivet repair. Large chip missing from the rim, with extensive nibbles and chips around the rim. Signs of possible later repair to the enamel decoration.Ginger jar: Large cracks and fractures throughout, signs of later repair. Extensive crazing throughout.Tea bowl: Large intersecting cracks to the rim and running down the bowl. Chips, nibbles and losses to the rim and foot.Bowl and cover: Chips, nibbles and losses to the foot of the bowl. Possible repairs to the inside of the rim. Extensive scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.Saucer: Several hairline cracks around the rim and the centre of the bowl. Nibbles to the foot of the bowl. No large chips or losses.
* A Chinese porcelain stem cup, possibly Ming Dynasty, the iron-red decorated bowl painted to the exterior and interior with floral sprays, the rotating stem of tapered cylindrical form, 9.5cm high, with a carved rock crystal cup, 18th/19th century, 7.5cm wide (2) (at fault) Condition report; Stem cup- Chips and losses can be seen to the edges of the base (photographed). No signs of restoration. Decoration appears as photographed. The bowl rotates upon the stem. Some glaze and surface imperfections which include areas of pitting. Crystal cup- cracked and re-glued.
* A Chinese porcelain blue and white gourd vase, 19th century, of double gourd form and externally decorated with a scrolling four-clawed dragon amidst blossoming branches, four character mark to the underside, 21cm high, with a miniature Jun glazed bottle vase, 5cm high (2) (at fault) Condition report; Gourd- Moulding flaw visible which surrounds the shoulder of the largest gourd. Otherwise, no obvious chips or restoration. Some surface scratching and grubbiness. Jun vase- No obvious chips, cracks or restoration.
