Chinese export porcelain dish painted after a design by Cornelis Pronk (Dutch, 1691-1759). Depicting a woman interacting with three birds shaded by a parasol held by an attendant. The figures and birds are repeated in the design along the rim of the plate. This composition is among one of Pronk's most popular designs. A label from Galerie Nicolas Fournery, Paris, is affixed along the underside.Height: 1 in x diameter: 9 1/4 in.
